Job Title: CACMAT Team Manager / QCM - Army HRC CAC
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to serve as a deputy to a program manager for contract delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational project planning and implementation, supervision of employees, and preparation of project status reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational project support to the program manager, including reporting, tasker completion, developing presentations, contract management, communications, scheduling, and other assigned functions.
- Supervise employees in the project management office, regional or installation level.
- Meet with business process owners and key stakeholders to identify project goals, objectives, critical success factors, and success measures.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, including meeting facilitation and documentation.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to project team members.
- Prepare for project reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Analyze and evaluate program data and metrics and provide input for high-level reports (taskers) for corporate and government leadership.
- Minimize the company's exposure and risk on assigned projects, appropriately raising awareness on at-risk items.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Keep project team informed of changes within the organization and corporate news that may impact project scope.
- Provide status reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Apprise management of issues requiring resolution in order to maintain progress on a timely basis.
- Prepare reports and/or dashboards for enterprise project activity.
- Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Understand how to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully.
- Conduct lessons learned to continually improve processes.
- Contribute to, implement, and maintain best practices for project management policies and guidelines.
- Assist in the development of resource management and project financial materials.
- Actively participate in Strategy and Growth activities, which may include developing solutions, proposals, staffing estimates, and/or new business opportunities, to promote business growth of existing and future work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of military service or a combination of education and work experience.
- Experience overseeing and managing projects in military/government environments, functional support roles, and collaborative interactions with military/government personnel.
- At least one year of experience working in a DoD or VA health-related setting.
- Able to influence and motivate others to collaborate.
- Superior writing, editing, analytical, proofreading skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work at all levels within an organization (Magellan, DoD, Military).
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects.
- Embraces and excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with an ability to maintain critical and strategic thinking and consultation skills.
- Must be eligible for DoD security clearance and clearance for access to DoD systems if contractually required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Maintains a high level of customer service to be measured by feedback from customers.
