Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Drysand Operator.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identified pattern at eye level
- Sand blast chills
- Place chills on pattern and repeat process for all patterns on daily schedule
- Repetitive motion
- Frequent walking back and forth
- Position requires continuous walking and standing on concrete surface
- Repetitive hand, wrist movement 8-10 hours
- Frequent bending, stooping and lifting
- Continuous use of hand motion/fine manipulation
- Work as a tem within department and with other departments and Leads
- Packing molds with sand
- Other duties may be assigned
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good communication skills
