Production- Repair Station Position

Magee Plastics Company, a premier manufacturer of thermoplastics and composites for the airline, rail, and other industries, is currently hiring for a Repair Station position. This position is responsible for production in composite recovery, composite production, and general production.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Detect and effectively repair imperfections on various manufactured parts
• Reading and confirming the parts list, interpret measurements and verify specifications.
• Work with multiple types of adhesives
• Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.
• Studying and interpreting technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics and diagrams required to complete tasks.
• Work with various hand tools (screwdrivers, knives, chisel, heat gun, etc.) to complete tasks
• Work with different types of laminate
• Keeping the workspace clean.
• Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
• Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
• Inspects each part to ensure quality standards

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.
• Promptness and reliability.
• Ability to read, write legibly, speak and understand english.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Capable of performing basic data entry.
• Ability to read and follow procedures.
• Skill at hand work and associated machinery.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
• Possess acceptable vision (with corrective lenses, as appropriate).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of measurement units and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
