Position Summary
The Warehouse Loader & Reserve Driver is a versatile position responsible for supporting both warehouse and transportation operations. The primary responsibility is assisting with loading company delivery vehicles each morning to ensure delivery routes depart accurately, safely, and on time.
After morning loading is complete, this position serves as the primary reserve driver, providing route coverage for employee call-offs, vacations, schedule changes, and other transportation needs. On days when driving coverage is not required, the employee will work throughout the warehouse, primarily supporting the Fulfillment department with order picking, packing, replenishment, and general warehouse operations. Individuals with maintenance experience may also assist the Maintenance department with facility upkeep and repair projects.

Applicants interested only in the morning loading responsibilities are also encouraged to apply. We are open to hiring a part-time Loader to work approximately Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Additional hours may be available based on business needs for those interested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load company delivery vehicles accurately and efficiently each morning.
- Stage orders for delivery and verify all products are loaded correctly before departure.
- Assist drivers with loading, route preparation, and ensuring timely departures.
- Serve as the primary reserve delivery driver for call-offs, vacations, and schedule changes.
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles while providing professional customer service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company driving policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist the Fulfillment department with order picking, packing, replenishment, inventory movement, and warehouse organization when not driving.
- Assist the Maintenance department with general facility maintenance and repairs when qualified and needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as trained.
- Assist other departments and complete additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to qualify to drive company delivery vehicles.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
- General maintenance or mechanical experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attendance and reliability are essential.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and willing to work in multiple departments as business needs change.
Schedule
Full-Time Position
- Monday through Friday
- 5:00 AM start time
- Morning loading responsibilities are typically completed between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
- Remaining daily hours will vary depending on transportation coverage needs and warehouse assignments.
- Overtime may be required during busy periods.
Part-Time Loader Option
