Frontend Developer

Maes Solutions is actively recruiting highly skilled Front-end Engineer to Design, build, and deliver scalable front-end solutions using Angular and React. The ideal candidate will have 10 years in front-end engineering, including senior/principal-level experience.

Role: Front-end Engineer / UI Development

Location: New jersey & Texas (5 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deliver scalable front-end solutions using Angular and React

Develop and optimize Progressive Web Apps (PWA) (service workers, offline-first, caching, background sync)

Define and implement front-end architecture, design patterns, and reusable component libraries

Integrate front-end applications with Node.js (and optionally Java-based) backend services

Drive performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering efficiency)

Lead modernization efforts (framework upgrades, refactoring legacy systems)

Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and mentor engineers

Collaborate with UX, product, and distributed (onsite–offshore) teams

Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment workflows

Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance productivity

Required Skills & Experience

10 years in front-end engineering, including senior/principal-level experience

Expert in TypeScript (advanced types, generics, scalable patterns)

Strong hands-on experience with:

Angular (v15 )

React (Hooks, Context, Redux or similar)

Experience building Node.js services (Express, NestJS)

Proven experience developing Progressive Web Apps, including:

Service workers & caching strategies

Offline-first architecture

Web app manifest, push notifications, background sync

Deep understanding of JavaScript, browser internals, and performance optimization

Experience with component libraries/design systems

Hands-on with testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Jasmine/Karma)

Knowledge of REST APIs, security, and authentication/authorization

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines

Strong collaboration experience in onsite–offshore models

Nice to Have

Experience with Java backend integration (Spring Boot)

Familiarity with SSR/SSG (Next.js, Angular Universal)

Expertise in Core Web Vitals optimization & performance profiling

Open-source contributions or internal framework development

Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
