To help drive this exciting endeavor, we are currently looking for Senior Project Manager to join our Industrial Automation team based in Pune, India. By managing, focusing, and being part of the project management team, you will be able to make a difference in our ability to deliver on our strategic ambition to gain a competitive edge in terminal operations to connect and simplify our customers’ supply chains. While further deploying your strong capabilities in digital transformation, technology investments, and project management, you focus on building and nurturing great technical talent and making a difference on a global level. Key Responsibilities: - Ensures planning and execution of automation technology projects through all phases of initiation, planning, execution, and implementation until operational stabilization. - Supports in mapping of business requirements, and translation of business requirements into operational deployment plans. - Support with defining and monitoring project scope, costs, and schedule, resources, interdependencies, and risks from time to time. - Facilitates the engagement of Terminal stakeholders to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation of automation technology projects. - Co-ordinate with internal departments as well as vendors/suppliers on project related deliverables to ensure a multi-party team operates in an efficient and cohesive manner to achieve project success, while tracking deliverables and proactively reporting on risks and issues. - Ensures that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting terminal business objectives. - Provides effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management. - Identifies resource needs for the projects and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members. - Works with senior Project Managers, technology leaders and other relevant stakeholders to define and develop an effective approach to streamline the end-to-end deployment of industrial automation technology, from demand management to go-live and continuous business support/optimization. - Drives business change across industrial automation technology projects, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives. - Project Monitoring and control with the teams, while reporting/ managing any deviations (Time, Cost & Resources). - Maintains a strategic view across automation technology projects, providing the framework for implementing business initiatives, or large-scale change, by conceiving, maintaining, and communicating a vision of the project outcomes and associated benefits. We are looking for: - At least 3 years of proven experience in managing technology or engineering projects. - Knowledge of solutions in operational technology/Industrial automation domain is a huge advantage. - Knowledge of Modern Container Terminal Operations or Plant Operations is a plus. - Working experience in a multi-stakeholder environment, along with the internal/ external clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary team. - Bachelor’s Engineering with Masters (optional) in Engineering/ Business, with any relevant studies in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Technology Management or similar is a plus. - Knowledge of managing complex, business-critical deliverables in a highly dynamic stakeholder environment. - Experience in finance related matters, setting & monitoring budget and reporting for the financial objectives. - Structured way of working and advanced problem-solving skills. - Strong ownership, can-do attitude, and growth potential in people leadership Team-player with cross-functional coordination capabilities. - Understanding industry trends and relevant innovations in supply chain technology. - Knowledge of a Project Management tool is a must, while any relevant certification Project management is a plus. - Excellent English written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Other languages are a plus.
