Overview
Physical therapy technician with strong, personal training background. Ability to work with all ages, but especially seniors. Position involves one-on-one, exercise supervision for post-surgical, lower back pain, and other orthopaedic conditions. On-site training will be provided. Also, some front office duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling patients, and checking insurance information.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapist with treatment programs.
- Assist patients with proper exercise techniques, emphasizing safety and effectiveness
- Support physical therapy sessions by applying knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to aid recovery processes
- Maintain a clean, organized workout environment.
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities to motivate clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for helping others improve their conditions through therapeutic exercise.
Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
