About the Role
As a Structural Designer in our Jefferson City location, you will play a critical role in the design of industrial, commercial, and some residential structures. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the structural design for industrial, commercial, and residential projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards utilizing REVIT and/or Civil 3D.
- Prepare comprehensive design plans, specifications, and reports, including drawings, detailing, and construction documents.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure the firm's designs remain cutting-edge and compliant.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial, commercial, and residential design.
- Proficient in structural design programs including REVIT and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation
- This position offers a salary range of $60,000-85,000 per year along with comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.
- The listed salary range reflects the potential compensation for this role. Starting pay will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
