We are looking for a Driller to perform Geotechnical and Environmental drilling. Duties include operating drill rigs, troubleshooting field issues, and evaluating project sites to assist with proposals. 

Location: Bartow, FL 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate and maintain various drilling rigs for geotechnical and environmental projects with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. 

• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment. 

• Gather accurate field data and soil samples; maintain detailed field boring logs for analysis. 

• Provide clear and timely updates to engineers and clients using the appropriate tools and systems. 

• Troubleshoot equipment and address field challenges as they arise. 

• Assist in evaluating site conditions and support project scoping when needed. 

• Balance production goals with high standards for data integrity and safety. 

Requirements 

• 2 years’ drilling experience, with 1 year operating multiple types of rigs. 

• Proficiency in mud-rotary and auger drilling; rock coring experience preferred. 

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain drill rig and support equipment. 

• Demonstrated commitment to safety in both practice and documentation. 

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight workspaces. 

• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays. 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Familiarity with USCS soil classification for field logging. 

• High school diploma or GED.
