Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS with precision and accountability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Collaborate with team members during events such as banquets or catering functions to deliver seamless service in fast-paced environments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably with fine dining, nightclub, or banquet experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol serving policies
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
- Experience in food handling, serving, or retail math is highly desirable
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred; hospitality background is a plus
