Madras Dragstrip is the oldest NHRA track in the PNW.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Emergency Medical Technicians. As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to racers or spectators in emergency situations. Duties:
- Perform triage and assess the condition of patients
- Administer basic life support and perform CPR when necessary
- Provide patient care until 911 arrives
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Assist with physical examinations and provide support to healthcare professionals
- Utilize knowledge of physiology to provide appropriate medical interventions
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure cleanliness of equipment and ambulances
Experience:
- Previous experience as an EMT or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient movement
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and procedures
