What will you do?
- Lead the creative development for advertising, digital content, and integrated campaigns for the New York Rangers.
- Concept and develop communications across multiple channels, including radio, social, digital, television, and experiential platforms.
- Write compelling copy for Rangers content across social media, TV, OOH, email, web, mobile app, and other marketing platforms.
- Partner with the Creative Studio team to develop breakthrough creative work across all channels.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of creative initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or similar.
- 6 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or brand content creation, preferably on a creative team in an agency or agency-style environment
- Background in copywriting
- Deep knowledge of and passion for professional hockey
- Experience with strategy-based creative development.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of print, digital, video, new media design and production
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedule/hours as needed to accommodate player and team schedules
- Eye for high quality, brand appropriate creative
- Ability to brainstorm, concept, and clearly articulate creative ideas in a highly collaborative, fast-paced work culture
- Readiness and willingness to mentor copywriters
