The Graphic Design - Sports Student Associate is responsible for supporting the creative team with design ideas, adhering to brand guidelines, and assisting with the creation of visual production designs for various platform and business needs. You’ll have the opportunity to assist the New York Knicks and New York Rangers on design projects. The Student Associate will also actively participate in the creative brainstorming process and develop & adapt designs based on creative and brand feedback. This role is for a graphic design student who is eager to learn and grow, and who has a passion for design and collaboration.

What will you do?
- Assist in building out campaign assets based on approved key art developed by the internal design team.
- Support the creation of visual designs from ideation to completion, at the direction from the more experienced designers/management.
- Collaborate and support project teams in research, ideation and development of original, scalable concepts for various platforms.
- Maintain design files, project documentation and version control.
- Collaborate with project team to understand design requirements.
- Demonstrated visual design software proficiency (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Basic design background; understanding of typography, composition, photography, and color; well versed in design process and production methods.
- Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. moodboards, concept treatments, etc.).
- Must be available to work 35 hours a week.
- Must be available from end of May to early August.
- Must be enrolled as a rising junior or senior.
- Must have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
