Overview

We are partnering with a highly respected Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) seeking an experienced Private Wealth Advisor to step into an established book of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships.

This role is ideal for a relationship-driven advisor who thrives in a planning-first, team-based environment. You will be supported by a dedicated financial planning and investment team, allowing you to focus on delivering comprehensive advice, deepening client relationships, and driving long-term outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an established book of UHNW clients, delivering a high-touch, white-glove client experience
  • Take full ownership of client relationships, including:
  • Preparing meeting agendas
  • Managing ongoing client communication
  • Ensuring follow-through on all action items
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning reviews, including retirement, estate, tax, and multi-generational planning strategies
  • Partner with internal financial planning and investment teams to analyze complex financial data and deliver tailored recommendations
  • Implement and oversee investment strategies and financial plans aligned with client goals
  • Collaborate with business development on prospective client meetings, including presenting the firm’s value proposition and helping convert opportunities (no self-sourcing required)
  • Participate in weekly wealth management meetings and bi-weekly departmental strategy sessions
  • Provide thoughtful, empathetic guidance—recognizing the emotional and behavioral aspects of financial decision-making


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field required
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MS Finance, CPA, CAIA, etc.)
  • CFP® designation preferred
  • Series 65 license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with direct exposure to UHNW clients
  • Demonstrated experience in: Advanced financial planning, Tax-aware strategies and Estate and legacy planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate complex client conversations
  • Solid knowledge of capital markets and investment strategies, with the ability to translate insights into client-facing recommendations
  • Experience working with custodial platforms such as Charles Schwab or Fidelity Investments
  • Strong technical acumen with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team-based advisory model
