We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to lead and optimize the operational infrastructure supporting a growing wealth management platform. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of investment operations while supporting advisors, portfolio managers, and clients. This individual will oversee daily execution across trading, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, billing, and investment data management, while also driving process improvement and operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Operations Leadership
- Lead day-to-day investment operations across the platform
- Supervise and mentor operations team members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage workflows, priorities, and team capacity
- Serve as escalation point for operational issues
Trading & Portfolio Operations
- Oversee daily trading workflows across custodians (Fidelity, Schwab)
- Ensure alignment with portfolio models and client guidelines
- Monitor account drift, cash balances, and allocations
- Partner with Portfolio Managers and Investment Team on execution
Reconciliation & Controls
- Oversee daily/monthly reconciliation processes
- Identify and resolve discrepancies across systems
- Implement and maintain strong operational controls
- Ensure data integrity and trade accuracy
Performance Reporting & Data Integrity
- Oversee portfolio performance reporting and reconciliation
- Maintain firm-wide reporting standards (GIPS familiarity a plus)
- Ensure consistency across custodial, portfolio, and CRM data
- Support Investment Committee materials
Billing Oversight
- Manage quarterly billing processes
- Review fee calculations and resolve exceptions
- Partner with advisory teams on billing-related matters
Custodian & Platform Management
- Serve as primary contact with custodians (Fidelity, Schwab)
- Oversee systems such as Orion and ByAllAccounts
- Ensure integrations across platforms remain accurate and efficient
Process Improvement & Scaling
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Implement new tools and workflows
- Document processes and support operational growth initiatives
- Assist with onboarding new platforms and capabilities
Compliance & Collaboration
- Partner with Compliance on regulatory requirements and audits
- Ensure adherence to trading policies and recordkeeping standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client and operational issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Series 65 (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- 5–8 years of investment operations or wealth management experience
- Experience leading or mentoring team members
- Strong knowledge of trading, reconciliation, billing, and portfolio operations
- Experience with custodians such as Fidelity or Schwab
- Familiarity with Orion or similar portfolio management systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- CFA, CFP®, CIPM, or similar designation
- Experience in a growing RIA or institutional investment platform
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
