What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher - Carpentry/Construction Trades position at Madison-Oneida BOCES?
Duties: To provide instruction and assessment to secondary students in Career and Technical Education in the area of Construction Trades. Maintain ongoing interaction with members of school administration, teaching, and counseling staff. Work closely with the industry partners for guidance, direction and materials. Provide services and supplementary materials to support instruction on an ongoing basis. Align instruction to post-secondary standards, while developing ongoing commitment and support for the program.
Qualifications: New York State Certification in Vocational-Technical Education of eligibility for transitional certification with high school diploma and four years full time experience in trade area.
Location of Position: SUNY Morrisville - Morrisville, NY
Term of Employment: Full-time -10-month position
Salary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teachers’ Contract.
Starting Date: September 1, 2026
Pay: From $65,913.00 per year
