What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutritional Services - Dietary Cook- (RPT) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
Madison health is seeking to hire a skilled Kitchen Staff to work in the Kitchen and Paragon (Cafeteria) cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals; prepare late and short stay trays, and other cooking duties as required.
Additional responsibilities assigned may include cleaning of dishes, all work areas, dining areas, and handling money/cash register as needed.
The incumbent must be able to represent Madison health and their values by providing stellar customer service.
Classification: Regular Part-Time
Schedule:
- 3-5 days per week.
- 6:00am-2:30pm AND/OR 12:00pm-8:30pm
- Mon-Fri and every other weekend.
Education/Certifications:
Food Working Training (Department of Health and Welfare)
High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
Previous commercial cooking , preferred
Knowledge of use and care of kitchen equipment and supplies, preferred
Required Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate written and verbally
Proven problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work as a team and individually
Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, MS Publisher (or Equivalent) and Power Point.
