What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab - Mail Courier - (FT) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
The Mail Courier is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of all mail, cash, and lab samples within the Madisonhealth organization. This requires pick up and sorting of mail, delivering outgoing mail to the Post Office, transporting lab samples from physician offices, and delivering deposits to the bank. The courier also is required to responsibly operate a company owned vehicle, and to keep vehicles and Business Office mail room clean and free of clutter.

Required Skills:
1. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
2. Excellent verbal communication skills and able to express themselves with courtesy and tact in all types of situations
3. Must be willing and able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in carrying out duties
4. Has strong organizational skills and excellent problem solving capabilities
5. Must feel comfortable interacting professionally with patients as well as with hospital employees and physicians
