What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Room - Health Unit Coordinator - (FT) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department. The Health Unit Coordinator provides indirect patient care consistent with the units standards of care. Facilitates communication needs of patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff as needed as well as preparing/compiling patient records through the use of various computer programs.
Schedule: FT Day Shift
- 6am-6pm
- (3) 12 hour shifts
- Variable Days
- Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Required Skills:
1. Basic computer knowledge, medical terminology is preferred.
2. Communication skill verbal and phone.
Minimum Work Experience:
1. One year of experience in a health care setting preferred.
Minimum Education:
1. High school graduate or equivalent
