What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Services- Imaging Manager-(Exe) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
Under the direction of a Radiologist and Executive Director of Diagnostic Services, the Imaging Manager supervises and performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy.
They also supervise technologists, ancillary personnel and students assigned within the department.
Activates repairs and controls work progress within those areas of designated responsibility.
Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a representative of administration and as clinical coordinator
Required Skills:
- Must demonstrate supervisory and leadership capabilities. Assumes all departmental responsibilities as instructed by Executive Director of Diagnostic Services.
- Healthcare provider CPR Able to use the PACS, RIS, and DR systems.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Must be competent in all routine diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to: Routine, Fluoroscopic, O.R., Trauma, Portable radiographs.
- Must have an understanding of each Modality in the Radiology Department
Minimum Education:
- Must hold an active ARRT License
