What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Play/Producations - Musical (3 act) position at Madison Local School District (Middletown)?
Madison Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and creative Middle School Musical Director for the 20262027 school year. This is a supplemental position responsible for directing our annual middle school musical production Grades 68.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vocal and theatrical instruction tailored to young adolescents. The Director will foster an inclusive, low-stress environment that builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and introduces students to fundamental musical theater skills.
Employment Requirements:
- Background Checks: Satisfactory completion of FBI and State BCI criminal background checks/fingerprinting.
- Drug Screening: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen per district policy.
- Pupil Activity Permit (PAP): Must hold (or be eligible to obtain prior to the start date) a valid state Pupil Activity Permit.
