The IT Intern - Database Administrator will directly support the IT department within the DBA team engagements. This internship supports department projects and day-to-day operations while building foundational knowledge and professional skills.

Core Responsibilities
- Understand and engage with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Servers.
- Review and design documentation to support DBA team engagement with application and business teams.
- Learn and execute tasks to assess, maintain and support databases such as patches, monitoring and tuning activities.
- Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Support team members in executing department initiatives and daily operations.
- Complete assigned project work with accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Present project findings or deliverables at the end of the internship period.
- Communicates Effectively - Shares information clearly and concisely; listens and responds appropriately.

- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program, preferred area of studies around Information Technology or Computer Science.
