Job Description:
Madison Elementary is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher for our Junior Kindergarten classroom. This position will cover a 12-week leave beginning August 11, 2025. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily instruction aligned with the Junior Kindergarten curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain classroom routines and expectations
- Assess and document student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid Elementary Teaching Certification (required)
- Experience working with early childhood or primary-aged children preferred
