Our client is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee Enterprise Intelligence & Insights Engineering capabilities. This role will lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of modern reporting and analytics platforms that support critical business decision-making across the organization.
You'll guide a multidisciplinary engineering organization while driving modernization initiatives focused on cloud-native analytics, enterprise reporting, automation, and scalable data platforms. Success in this role requires a blend of technical leadership, architectural expertise, and organizational development.
Location: Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, TX
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams responsible for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Define the long-term strategy and architecture for enterprise analytics platforms.
- Modernize reporting, visualization, and analytics capabilities.
- Drive cloud adoption, platform modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to prioritize analytics investments and technology roadmaps.
- Establish engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers, architects, and technical teams.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
Role Requirements:
- 8 years building enterprise analytics solutions.
- 4 years leading technical engineering teams.
- Experience with enterprise BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or similar).
- Strong cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and scalable analytics platforms.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices, automation, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Strong leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience designing and modernizing enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
