Madison-Davis is currently in search of a ServiceNow Developer (Event Management) for a large Consulting Firm in Houston, TX.
This is a long-term Contract position.
Candidates must be available to work onsite in Houston, TX 3-4 days per week.
About the Role:
A global enterprise organization is seeking a ServiceNow Event Management Developer to support and enhance enterprise monitoring, observability, and automation capabilities. This role will focus on event ingestion, alert correlation, noise reduction, remediation automation, and integrations across a large-scale IT environment.
The right candidate will bring hands-on ServiceNow development experience with strong ITOM Event Management knowledge and the ability to build reliable integrations between monitoring platforms, streaming tools, and ServiceNow.
What You’ll Tackle:
• Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM Event Management
• Build and support event ingestion pipelines using streaming-based integrations
• Develop event rules, alert rules, correlation logic, and deduplication processes
• Enrich alerts and reduce noise across enterprise monitoring workflows
• Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow
• Support alert-driven automation and remediation
• Ensure alerts are accurately linked to CIs, services, and the CMDB
• Create operational dashboards and reporting for NOC and operations teams
What You Bring:
• 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong ServiceNow Event Management experience
• Experience with Kafka or event streaming integrations
• JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience
• REST API integration experience
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, alert lifecycle, and alert correlation
• Experience supporting large enterprise IT environments
• Ability to work onsite in Houston 4 days per week
Nice to Have:
• ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, or Service Mapping
• AIOps or Alert Intelligence exposure
• ITIL v4 certification
• Experience in regulated global enterprises
