Managing Director / Partner – Corporate & Investment Banking Search
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Madison-Davis is building out a front-office Corporate & Investment Banking search practice, and we’re looking for a proven leader to take ownership of it.
This is a Partner-level opportunity designed for someone who understands the front-office market, knows how to generate revenue, and wants to build something with real backing behind it.
We’re not looking for someone to step into an existing seat. This is a true build.
The Opportunity
You will lead and scale a dedicated Corporate & Investment Banking search practice focused on front-office investment, credit, and capital markets talent across both buy-side and sell-side institutions.
The platform is already in place:
- 50 year brand in financial services recruiting
- Deep, existing client relationships across banking and investment platforms
- Strong delivery infrastructure to support execution
What’s missing is the right leader to own and build this vertical.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and grow a front-office Corporate & Investment Banking search practice from the ground up
- Drive new business across investment banks, private equity, private credit, and direct lending platforms
- Partner with leadership to define go-to-market strategy and long-term growth plan
- Execute on high-level search work across roles tied to deal origination, underwriting, and transaction execution
- Establish yourself as a market-facing leader within the front-office IB recruiting space
- Hire, mentor, and scale a team as the practice grows
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in Corporate & Investment Banking recruiting or front-office financial services search
- Strong relationships across banks, funds, or investment platforms
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and build client relationships
- Experience operating at a senior level (Director, Managing Director, or equivalent)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business
The Structure
This is a Partner-track role with:
- Equity and profit share
- A highly competitive base salary
- Aggressive commission structure tied to personal and team production
- Full financial support during the transition to ensure stability while you build
You’ll have the autonomy to run your business while leveraging the infrastructure, brand, and relationships of an established firm.
