Base Salary: $225,000 – $275,000 Bonus
Overview:
Our client, a globally active investment bank with a strong Financial Institutions platform, is seeking a senior coverage banker to focus on the insurance sector across North America and key offshore markets. This individual will own high-level client relationships across life insurers, reinsurers, and affiliated asset managers, driving strategic conversations and originating complex, high-value transactions. The role offers significant visibility, global exposure, and direct interaction with C-suite decision makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead primary coverage efforts for a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients, with a focus on the life sector
- Build and deepen relationships with senior executives including CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, Chief Actuaries, and Treasurers
- Originate and execute strategic transactions across capital management, balance sheet optimization, and growth initiatives
- Drive advisory dialogue around capital structure, asset-liability management, and long-term strategic positioning
- Partner with product teams across investment banking, markets, and asset management to deliver integrated solutions
- Maintain global coverage responsibility for key accounts, coordinating across regions including Europe and Asia
- Identify new business opportunities within existing relationships while expanding into new client segments
- Stay close to market trends within the insurance and reinsurance landscape to inform client strategy and positioning
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery across complex transactions
- Contribute to broader FIG strategy, helping shape sector coverage priorities and client engagement approach
