Program Manager – Full-Time, Salaried

Reports to: Executive Director and HR Generalist

Position Summary

MCCDD is seeking a full-time, salaried Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities, including Individualized Supported Living (ISL), Personal Assistant (PA), and Day Habilitation. This position provides leadership and supervision to program staff and helps ensure quality services, regulatory compliance, and the health, safety, rights, and welfare of individuals served.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential or community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with employees, individuals served, guardians, and community partners
• Basic computer and electronic documentation skills, including ability to learn Therap

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, schedule, and provide direction to program employees
• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for assigned programs
• Assist HR with hiring, training, employee performance, and evaluations
• Ensure services comply with MCCDD policies and applicable Missouri Department of Mental Health requirements
• Monitor documentation, case notes, individual records, and required documentation in Therap
• Coordinate with the Executive Director, HR Generalist, Registered Nurse, Service Coordinators, guardians, and support teams
• Monitor the health, safety, welfare, rights, and support needs of individuals served
• Attend ISP/IHP meetings, trainings, program meetings, and other required meetings
• Assist with compliance activities, certification reviews, and surveys
• Coordinate agency transportation as needed
• Participate in the agency's on-call rotation and respond to staffing/program needs as assigned
• Promote dignity, respect, choice, independence, and community participation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Pass required background and employment screenings
• Maintain dependable transportation, required automobile insurance, and a valid driver's license appropriate for assigned duties
• Complete and maintain required training/certifications, including Level 1 Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, Abuse and Neglect, and Confidentiality training, as applicable
• Maintain confidentiality of individuals served and agency information
• Perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Meet applicable MCCDD and DMH requirements

Schedule & Benefits

This is a full-time, salaried management position requiring flexibility to respond to program and staffing needs outside regular business hours and participation in the on-call rotation.
