Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics across a wide range of equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks, trailers and small heavy equipment.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding, equipment operation, and hazardous materials handling.
- Order parts and supplies efficiently while managing inventory levels to reduce downtime.
- Communicate effectively regarding repair status and technical issues to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
- Keeping shop and fleet organized
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Accepting and unloading deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive background in repairs specializing in small engines and heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, electrical systems repair.
- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment issues
