Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a student in a high school classroom.
A 1:1 school nurse provides individualized medical care and support to a specific student with specialized health needs throughout the school day. This role ensures the student's health and safety while enabling full participation in their educational program. Ideal candidates will possess the spirit of leading with a servant's heart.
Full-time Position
7 hours/day
5 days/week
188 days/year
Triad High School
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the student's medical condition throughout the school day
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist with daily care routines, including feeding, mobility, toileting, or medical devices, as needed
Respond to medical emergencies promptly and appropriately
Document daily care and communicate regularly with families and healthcare providers
Collaborate with school staff to support the student's educational and health needs
Minimum Qualifications:
Ohio Board RN License
Ohio Department of Education, Educational Aid Permit - can apply once selected
Satisfactory results on the criminal records check are required
Willing to ride the bus to and from school, which may extend hours to 7.5 hours per day
