Latchkey Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: Norwood Elementary – West Jefferson, OH
Organization: Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC)
Position Overview:
Madison-Champaign ESC is seeking a dependable and organized Latchkey Coordinator to lead the Norwood Elementary Latchkey Program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations.
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours), ranging from 20–40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the latchkey program
- Supervise and evaluate staff
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of program staff
- Manage program purchasing and supplies
- Ensure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulations
- Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- Valid ODE license/permit (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare setting
- Knowledge of daycare licensing rules preferred
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
Additional Information:
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- Schedule: 20–40 hours per week (AM and/or PM shifts available)
- Some summer hours are required for training
- Salary: Commensurate with experience, per approved salary schedule
