SAP ABAP Developer

SAP ABAP Developer - proactive, self-driven SAP ABAP & Integration Developer to join our enterprise application team. In this role, you will take ownership of critical core business processes, design robust custom solutions, and handle end-to-end integration across our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who excels at debugging, monitoring complex interfaces, and adapting quickly to new technologies across SAP BTP and hybrid environments. Broad familiarity with core SAP functional domains (such as Master Data Management / MDM, Finance / FI, P2P, etc.) is highly valued to help bridge technical execution with business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process Ownership & Initiative: Take full ownership of assigned business processes and technical solutions from design through post-implementation support.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Rigorously debug, isolate, and resolve bugs across standard and custom SAP applications, interfaces, and enhancement points.
• Interface Monitoring & Support: Actively monitor, analyze, and maintain system interfaces across cloud and on-premise platforms; perform root-cause analysis on failures.
• Technical Development: Design, build, and optimize high-quality solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, RFCs, and modern extension points.
• Integration Management: Develop and support integration scenarios using SAP BTP Integration Suite, OData services, Web Services, and SAP PI/PO.
• Job Automation & Operations: Monitor and manage scheduled background jobs; experience with enterprise job schedulers (Opswise / Stonebranch) is strongly valued.
• Continuous Learning & Collaboration: Actively listen to stakeholder requirements, rapidly learn business processes, and continuously acquire skills in modern SAP technologies.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Core SAP Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs), Modularization techniques, and standard SAP enhancement frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing and optimizing Core Data Services (CDS Views).
• Deep understanding of RFCs, BAPIs, ALE/IDocs, and standard function modules.

Integration Technologies

• Hands-on experience building and consuming OData Services (Gateway/REST) and SOAP Web Services.
• Practical knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI).
• Working experience with SAP PI/PO (Process Integration / Process Orchestration).
• Strong expertise in end-to-end interface debugging, payload tracing, and error handling.

Operational & Scheduler Knowledge

• Experience with workload automation and enterprise job scheduling tools (Opswise / Stonebranch preferred).

Preferred Qualifications & Good-to-Have Skills

• Functional Knowledge (Good-to-Have): Working exposure or foundational understanding of core SAP functional areas such as Master Data Management (MDM / MDG), Financial Accounting (FI/CO), or Supply Chain / Logistics modules (SD/MM) to collaborate effectively with functional leads and business analyst teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP and integration experience in enterprise environments.
• Certifications: Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP Development, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration Suite.

Salary : $110 - $130
