Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff member to support our specialty egg roll production kitchen. This part-time position focuses on mixing fillings, rolling egg rolls, and maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. The role offers the opportunity for growth, skill development, and pay increases as experience and responsibilities expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health regulations.
- Prepare, cook, and mix specialty fillings according to recipes and standards.
- Assemble and roll egg rolls with precision and consistency.
- Create and batch sauces to accompany specialty egg rolls.
- Scoop and prepare fillings for specialty egg rolls.
- Make chips as needed for production.
- Unload and restock ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Support kitchen staff with additional production tasks as needed.
- Assist in monitoring ingredient quality and alert management to low inventory or supply needs.
- Perform any other kitchen tasks that support overall production needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of kitchen tasks.
- Comfortability operating a deep fryer
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Availability Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
