Now Hiring: Dog Daycare Attendant
Are you an experienced and reliable animal care professional looking for a fulfilling role in a structured and high-quality dog daycare environment? We are seeking a Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This position requires independence, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and sanitation.
Position Details:
- Shifts: 7 AM-2 PM, 9 AM- 4PM, 2 PM – 9 PM
- Starting Pay: $10/hour during training ( first 6 shifts)
- Probationary Pay: $12/hour for the first 60 days
- After 60 Days: Eligible for raises, PTO, sick leave, continuing education allowance, and additional benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage groups of 10 dogs from different households
- Recognize and respond to dog behavior cues to prevent or break up conflicts
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, as this role consists of 70% cleaning and 30% direct interaction with dogs
- Follow established policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Work independently while demonstrating sound decision-making skills
- Maintain a calm and positive demeanor in stressful situations
Qualifications:
✔ Proven experience working with groups of dogs in a professional setting (pet ownership or casual pet-sitting does not qualify)✔ Strong understanding of dog behavior, group dynamics, and conflict prevention✔ Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently✔ Reliable transportation and consistent attendance✔ Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely✔ Comfortable handling the physical demands of the job, including cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
