Entry-Level Cannabis Extraction Technician — Shelton, WA
We are a licensed recreational cannabis processing facility in Shelton, WA, looking for a motivated, entry-
level Extraction Technician to join our team. No prior extraction experience required — we are happy to
train the right person. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, dependable, and works well as
part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and learn to operate extraction equipment under the guidance of experienced staff
- Follow WSLCB regulations and facility SOPs for safety, compliance, and product quality
- Help maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and inventory tracking
- Support routine equipment cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of solvents and pressurized systems
- Work closely with the production team and communicate openly to keep the shift running smoothly
Qualifications:
- No prior cannabis industry experience required — training provided
- Eager to learn, coachable, and comfortable following detailed procedures
- Cooperative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Must be 21 and able to pass a background check per WSLCB licensing requirements
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
