What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at Madera Location Processing Plant?
Responsibilities:
Perform various analysis on almond nut products, inspecting to ensure they meet company, customer, and regulatory standards, documenting results, creating labels, perform Pre-Op Inspections, enforce GMP's, perform ATP sampling after sanitation, placing out of spec product on hold, and other duties as assigned. Basic math and computer skills.
Requirements:
These positions require walking, standing, bending, working in a warm environment, and occasionally lifting to 50 lbs. and basic computer skills. Great oral and written communication is a must. Bi-lingual is a plus
Other:
The ideal candidate(s) must be detail oriented and able to work various shifts when needed, some weekends, and overtime when required. These are full time positions and work year-round. Technician is required to taste test products for sensory evaluation, so must not have nut allergies.
