Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, will work in the Emergency Department and will be responsible to ensure all billing is done daily, ensures all notes are in for each patient and day that the patient was seen and matches. Will set all meetings for each specific group, creates agendas with medical director, takes minutes during meeting and sends them out to each physician in a specified group. Works with physicians and medical directors to receive all availability for physicians and creates schedules. Works with new physicians and medical staff for hospital privileging, assisting through entire application process. Works with physicians to keep all required licenses updated and maintained to keep active privileges with the hospital.
Qualifications:
Prefer Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare. Prefer previous site administrator or emergency department experience. Must be able to plan and work independently to accomplish goals. Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
