The Madeira School is an independent, college preparatory, boarding and day school for girls grades 9-12. Located in McLean, Virginia on a 376-acre wooded campus, Madeira is 12 miles from the center of Washington, DC. Madeira’s ambitious academic curriculum emphasizes both content and skills. Madeira School is seeking a part-time driver for the upcoming school year to transport students in the Washington Metropolitan area. Drivers will utilize school vehicles which include minivan, highlander, 11-passenger van and 14-passenger buses. The anticipated schedule is 6:00 am – 8:00 am and 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. On an as-needed basis, a driver may have an opportunity to pick up additional driving hours and provide support for security including walking campus and supporting the gatehouse as well as providing general support to a variety of offices throughout the Madeira community. The position may include lifting up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
· Familiarity with region required
· Background check required
· Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
· Authorized to work in the US for any employer
Pay: $25.00 per hour
