What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Madeira City School District?
Madeira City Schools is looking for a part time (3 days per week) Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will work with preschool students. SLP candidates would be expected to provide screening, diagnostic assessments, and interventions to students. Qualified candidates will develop and deliver specially designed instruction utilizing research-based therapeutic interventions to children with a variety of communication disorders. The SLP will be expected to collaborate with teams to support student progress against instructional objectives and will collaborate as IEP case manager or related service provider.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be qualified for this position, applicants must possess:
Master's degree or higher;
Speech-Language Pathology license from the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board;
Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Professional School Speech-Language Pathologist License;
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred;
State and Federal Background checks free of infractions as required by Ohio law and Board Policy;
