The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial health and accuracy of Made4net by maintaining reliable financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is responsible for assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes. By delivering timely and accurate financial information, the Staff Accountant helps enable informed decision-making and contributes to the overall efficiency and integrity of the company’s finance function.

This position is responsible for assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes. By delivering timely and accurate financial information, the Staff Accountant helps enable informed decision-making and contributes to the overall efficiency and integrity of the company’s finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
- Verify and perform reconciliations of Balance sheet and key expense accounts.
- Check for accuracy and completeness in the general and subsidiary ledgers, journals, reports, accounts receivable and payable, researching variances and adjusting as needed to produce error-free financial reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close process.
- Assist with various state sales tax filings.
- Compile cost information to provide insight for annual budget preparation.
- Performs other related duties and participates with other special projects as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Demonstrate organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Proven track record of being a motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet critical deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Ability to quickly adapt/learn job specific software systems.
- Knowledge of SAP experience is a plus.
- Experience with ClickTime software is a plus.
