Job Overview
Made of Marble Restoration is a specialized stone restoration company focused on high-quality craftsmanship and professional service. We are looking for an experienced Marble Restoration Technician to join our team.
This role is for someone who already has hands-on experience polishing and refinishing marble and natural stone using floor machines and hand tools. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a small, skilled team while following established procedures and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Polish, hone, and refinish marble and other natural stone surfaces
- Operate floor machines, hand polishers, and related stone restoration equipment
- Perform scratch removal, etch removal, and surface refinishing
- Prepare and protect work areas before and after service
- Follow company processes, safety procedures, and job instructions
- Work efficiently on residential and commercial job sites
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles
- Maintain a polite, respectful, and professional attitude with customers and team members at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience polishing marble using floor machines and hand machines
- Basic to intermediate English/Spanish communication skills required
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow rules and instructions
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Physically able to handle equipment and perform hands-on labor
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Experience working in occupied homes and high-end properties
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience with other natural stones such as limestone, travertine, or terrazzo
- Knowledge of sealing and stones and Akemi repairs.
