MADE Mercantile & Cafe – Freeport, Maine
MADE Mercantile & Cafe is hiring full-time, year-round baristas to join our growing team in downtown Freeport.
We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals who genuinely enjoy hospitality, coffee culture, and creating a welcoming customer experience. This is a fast-paced café environment connected to a creative retail and community space featuring local makers, artists, and events.

## Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and café offerings
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café
- Restock products and assist with inventory
- Work efficiently during busy rush periods
- Support the team with opening and closing duties
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers
## Qualifications
- Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Weekend availability required
- Interest in coffee, hospitality, and community-focused business
