About the Role:
As the Seasonal Internet Fulfillment Supervisor position for Made in Oregon you will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient processing and delivery of online retail orders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This position is responsible for managing the daily activities of the fulfillment team, coordinating order picking, packing, and shipping processes while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. The supervisor will work closely with management, customer service, and other departments to streamline workflows and resolve any issues that arise during order fulfillment. A key outcome of this role is to optimize fulfillment operations to meet or exceed service level agreements and support the company’s growth in the e-commerce sector.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and order processing systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Forklift Certified a plus
- Advanced computer skills, including the ability to navigate screens, send and receive email, perform word processing and spread sheeting tasks. Proficient in WMS and ERP systems, and able to use shipping systems, (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of fulfillment associates to achieve daily and weekly order processing targets.
- Train new hires and existing employees on processes and procedures, as needed
- Monitor order flow and inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of online orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to schedule shipments and manage delivery deadlines.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies within the fulfillment area.
- Maintain detailed records of order fulfillment activities and prepare performance reports for management.
- Address and resolve customer order issues in collaboration with the customer service team.
- Manage staffing schedules and workflow to accommodate fluctuating order volumes, especially during peak periods.
