Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance and promoting our products effectively.
Availability:
Looking for candidates with flexible weekday & weekend availability to work a mix of opening and closing shifts 20-30 hours a week
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and handle cash accurately.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves.
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with store policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions.
- Assist in training new staff members and supervising daily operations as needed.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience in retail sales, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts to analyze sales performance.
- Ability to merchandise products attractively to drive sales.
- Experience in stocking inventory efficiently while maintaining organization.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
