We are looking for a Sales Associate to be a dynamic part of our close-knit team!

We need to fill 2-3 shifts per week totaling 15-20 hours a week, and are looking for candidates with flexible weekday and weekend availability

Typical Shifts

• Opener to arrive at 7:45am and work until 1 or 2pm
• Midday: arrive around 10am and work until 5pm
• Closer: arrive around 1-2:30pm and work until 9:15pm to close the store

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock counts

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store operations preferred
• Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math principles
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
