We are looking for a highly motivated college student to join MADE Hoops for a 4-week, in-person internship at our Brickell office. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in the accounting side of the sports industry.
More than anything else, we are looking for someone who is hungry to learn and eager to grow. We can teach you the process, but we need you to bring the drive. You will be stepping in to support our daily operations by managing the invoicing process for our upcoming events. This is a performance-based opportunity: if you excel, show great attention to detail, and prove you want to learn during your 4-week internship, the role will transition into a paid position.

What You Will Do
- Generate and send out invoices to clients and partners for various MADE Hoops events.
- Track incoming invoice payments and keep our internal financial records accurate and up to date.
- Organize and compile reports of all open (unpaid) invoices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to hand off open invoice data so they can effectively follow up with programs and clients.
- A desire to learn and grow: This is our #1 requirement. We want someone who asks questions, takes initiative, and wants to get better every day.
- Highly attentive to detail: You will be dealing with numbers, client names, and financial tracking, so accuracy is absolutely critical.
- Spreadsheet skills: You must be comfortable navigating and working within Excel and Google Sheets.
- Local Student: Currently enrolled as a college student located in or around Brickell (or able to easily commute to our Brickell office).
- Reliable, communicative, and organized.
- Pursuing a degree or demonstrating a strong interest in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred, but not a dealbreaker).
- A genuine interest in gaining exposure to the sports industry and learning how event finances operate.
- Practical, resume-building experience in accounts receivable and sports business operations.
- Covered parking expenses for the duration of the internship.
- A clear, fast-tracked 4-week evaluation period with a direct path to a paid role with MADE Hoops for high performers.
