We are currently seeking experienced Service Staff to support meetings and events at La Venta Inn/ Los Angeles area events. This is an as-needed position based on scheduled events throughout the week under the catering department throughout the week as meetings and events are scheduled.
Pay
$25/hourly 15% tip per shift
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, guest-focused food and beverage service with attention to detail and professionalism
- Execute event setup and breakdown efficiently, ensuring all spaces meet presentation and operational standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and service-ready environment throughout the duration of each event
- Anticipate guest needs and provide a high-touch, elevated hospitality experience
- Partner closely with event captains and team members to ensure seamless, timely, and polished event execution
Qualifications
- Previous catering, banquet, or food service experience required
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from shifts.
- Must be able to access shift requests from your phone or email.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment
- Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive, service-driven attitude
