What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Sales Specialist position at Made by Meg Catering?
Very busy, high end, off-premise Los Angeles Catering Company is looking to add a Catering Sales person to the Team!
*Applicants with local address or intent to move to Torrance, CA area apply. Job requires close proximity to business. Long commute applicants are not ideal.
Catering experience is a plus! Must love food! Candidate must have an in depth knowledge of food, catering and hospitality. Your clients will be private, corporate, weddings or businesses looking to make an impression or sell their brand through our culinary experience.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new systems.
•Previous sales experience for a catering company is a plus!
*Duties include (but are not limited to):*
•Daily marketing calls to potential clients
•Set up Executive food tastings
•Client correspondence including emails & written communications
•Solicit new business through phone calls, emails & appointments
•Experience with social media outlets (facebook, instagram, twitter...)
• The ability to develop new client relationships, as well as maintaining existing ones
• Ability to handle the vast Greater LA market
• Works with a sense of urgency and able to handle multiple clients at once while making them each feel cared for
•Determined and part of a team efforting to see the company reach their yearly and long-term goals
• Able to represent their product to the client in a knowledgeable manner Primary Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. This is a commission and a salary based position. Employee will be hired on contract.If you meet these requirements,
