Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI Migration Consultant to support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for financial data migration, functional analysis, data validation, testing, reconciliation, and cutover support to ensure a successful migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration, conversion, and implementation projects for the Finance (FI) module.
- Analyze existing SAP FI configurations, business processes, data structures, and customizations.
- Develop and execute data migration plans for financial master data and transactional data.
- Migrate and validate General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, and related financial data.
- Support Business Partner conversion and Customer/Vendor master data migration in SAP S/4HANA.
- Work with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New General Ledger, and other relevant S/4HANA Finance functionalities.
- Perform data mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and other applicable data migration tools.
- Support mock migrations, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
- Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and other SAP functional consultants to resolve migration issues.
- Support cutover planning, production migration, financial reconciliation, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Prepare migration documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, and reconciliation reports.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
- Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion or migration initiatives.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and financial master data.
- Experience in data migration, mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and the Universal Journal.
- Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit or other relevant migration tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and conversion projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Fiori applications.
- Experience with SAP Data Services, ETL tools, or other data migration solutions.
- Experience supporting financial cutover, period-end processes, and post-migration reconciliation.
