Job Summary

• Analyze business objectives, user requirements, operational procedures, and system limitations to identify and implement effective technical solutions.
• Perform feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, and recommend alternative solutions to improve existing systems and processes.
• Develop detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, workflows, and system modifications.
• Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data integration and analytics solutions.
• Work within an Agile SDLC environment to deliver scalable and efficient data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to Agile development projects as a technical team member or technical lead.
• Acquire and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL scripts and database objects.
• Develop ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center and/or IICS.
• Create dimensional data models, database views, and materialized views.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams on data design and acquisition strategies.
• Participate in requirements gathering, sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Perform verification and validation of SQL scripts, ETL workflows, and database objects.
• Develop automated testing and validation solutions.
• Create mockups and prototypes and work with business users for validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and data-related issues.
• Assist with implementation and configuration of development and deployment tools.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, specifications, diagrams, and process flows.
• Interpret changing business requirements and recommend system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support deployment, operations, maintenance, and enhancements of data integration platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
• 8 years of experience integrating data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.
• 8 years of experience designing and developing complex and optimized Snowflake SQL scripts.
• 8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst on data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with technical documentation, process mapping, and modeling tools such as Visio and Erwin.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
• Experience planning and delivering enterprise software platforms across multiple business units.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and ability to develop efficient, maintainable, and testable code.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and sprint teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with healthcare data, including PII/PHI handling and security principles.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization environments.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Experience using JIRA for project and sprint management.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript development.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with MuleSoft development.
• Experience using AI-enabled data tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire.
• Prior experience in healthcare or government-related projects is preferred.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
